MEET STEVE
First starting his career in machine tool service and maintenance in 1986 when he joined British Aerospace, Steve isn’t your average business owner. His mechanical apprenticeship within a large aerospace manufacturer took him into a dedicated machine tool position as a CNC Maintenance Millwright. This involved fault-finding breakdowns and repairing/maintaining a wide range of machine makes/models, proving his phenomenal expertise in the field.
Steve then became a field service engineer in the United Kingdom and Australia for Mazak, Okuma, and Makino machine tool companies, expanding his knowledge and experience even further.
Now settled in QLD, Australia, Steve fronts MTS-R with his wife Kelly as the admin and his son Lewis providing service and support to customers for the CNC machinery across Australia and New Zealand. Today, they have an incredible reputation among many for their renowned work ethic, speed, efficiency, and competitive rates.
